The 38-year-old artist was forced to cut short her show in the city on Saturday night, telling fans she had a cold. Shows on Monday and Tuesday were also called off. The singer, who is still recovering from her battle with breast cancer, on Saturday stopped a concert at the MEN Arena in Manchester only 45 minutes after it began. The shows set to take place Tuesday and Wednesday were postponed after Minogue was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. The new dates for the shows are January 21/22 with tickets remaining valid from the original dates. It is not known yet if Saturday's show will be rescheduled, but the fans have been advised to retain their tickets and check for news on the MEN Arena website, BBC news reports. Minogue launched the U.K. leg of her Showgirl Homecoming Tour on New Year's Eve, following her recovery from treatment for breast cancer. She performed 7 nights at the Wembley Arena in London before embarking on the Manchester leg of the tour. Kylie Minogue Ignored Doctors, Started Comeback Tour Too SoonKylie Minogue ignored doctors by going ahead with her gruelling comeback tour so soon after battling breast cancer. The singer was warned exhaustion would take its toll if she pushed herself too hard so soon after being given the all-clear from the potentially life-threatening illness, but Kylie insisted on adding extra dates to her 'Showgirl Homecoming' tour so as not to let fans down. A source revealed: "She was told to rest up for several months. But nobody could stop her." After collapsing on stage at Manchester's MEN Arena last Saturday (13.01.07) - the 29th show of strenuous 33-date tour of the UK and Australia - Kylie has been ordered by doctors "not to perform in the immediate future". Kylie Minogue health fearsMinogue, recovering from a battle with breast cancer, also cut short Saturday night's gig after only 45 minutes. Doctors diagnosed a chest infection -- several of her crew are believed to have flu -- and urged her to rest to be able to sing on Thursday and Friday. Minogue's British Showgirl Homecoming Tour followed a successful, but hectic, comeback tour of Australia. A fan at Saturday's concert said it was upsetting to see her suffering so obviously on stage. "She tried to reassure us, but so many people were crying," said office worker Alice Kennett, 27. The singer told Saturday night's disappointed audience she was unwell as soon as she appeared on stage. She struggled through about nine songs before calling it quits. "I must apologise because I can't sing all the words tonight. I've got a cold and I'm struggling a bit. Do you mind if I just stand here and pose all night?" she said. She was joined on stage by sister Dannii before abandoning the show. Kylie Minogue ends show early, fans worriedKylie Minogue ended her concert at Manchester's MEN Arena on Saturday night after only one hour and, due to her recent health problems, fans are very concerned about the future of the singer's tour. She told fans she had a cold, but the UK leg of her Showgirl Homecoming Tour is suppose to be her return after a hiatus due to treatment for breast cancer, so fans are naturally worried. The BBC reports that a decision about upcoming dates is expected soon and that a recorded message on the MEN hotline reports that Minogue and her people are hopeful the tour will continue as planned.
