During their Monday night dinner at South Beach's Nobu restaurant, spies tell the paper, "John was extremely quiet and didn't speak a lot," while Simpson "just gave a lot of puppy-dog looks and twirled and twisted her hair." Before leaving to parade in front of the gaggle of photographers, Simpson reportedly ditched her date to spend 20 minutes in the bathroom to fix "herself up for the camera." A pair of famous people hooking up solely for the sake of generating publicity? We've never dreamed that such a scheme could exist in Hollywood!

After a shower and a change of clothes, they headed over to Nobu, where they dined for over two hours. An onlooker said, "They looked really cute together. They were talking and laughing the whole time. She was constantly fixing herself to make sure she looked her best for him." Jessica and John held hands during dinner and their open affection for each other didn't end there. Shortly before leaving, Jessica pulled John in for a hug and kissed his nose on her tiptoes.

On Tuesday, they were then spotted boarding John’s tour bus to travel on to Jacksonville for his Thursday night concert.
