Jennifer GarnerJennifer Garner's diamond disasterThe 'Catch and Release' star was given the expensive rock by her husband after she gave birth to their one-year-old daughter Violet, but almost lost it when it accidentally fell off. In an interview on US TV show 'Live With Regis and Kelly', Jennifer said: "He gave me this beautiful diamond ring and I was playing with it and it fell off. It fell under this ice maker in the house - Ben hasn't even heard of this yet - and it fell into the drain under this ice maer. "The plumber had to come and dismantle the thing from under the house. And he found it. Ben doesn't even know about this! I should have warned him." The 34-year-old actress got the ring back without her husband knowing how it was almost lost, as she was flashing the sparkler at the premiere of her new film 'Catch and Release' with Kevin Smith. Ben, also 34, and Jennifer were married in June 2005. Jennifer Garner 'Catches' A New HitShe roundhouse-kicked her way to fame as Sydney on the ABC action-drama "Alias." Now, Garner is a bona fide movie star. Garner recently sat down with "Good Morning America's" Robin Roberts to talk about her latest film, "Catch and Release." Garner said it took a while for her body to bounce back after giving birth to her now 13-month old daughter, Violet. "With my sisters, the baby weight just melted off&I just kept waiting for that to happen and eating bagels and muffins and I'm like, 'I'm not any skinnier,'" she said. "So finally, I thought, well, I'd better get on the treadmill." While Garner likes a healthy lifestyle, she's not much for sticking to diets and exercise routines. "I do still like to keep in shape. It's just nowadays, I'll do a bit less than I used to. I'm a normal person and I like food," she said. Jennifer Garner rom-com’s a lousy CatchIf Gray (Jennifer Garner), the bee-stung-lipped heroine of Catch And Release, were going to write a personals ad, it would read something like this: Me: SWF, early 30s, cute as a button, especially my dimples. I live in Boulder, Colorado, which I'm told looks a lot like parts of British Columbia. I'm not sure what I do for a living, but it keeps me in nice clothes and has something to do with Celestial Seasonings, that herbal tea company. Maybe I need some strong coffee to wake me up. Maybe you do, too. Favourite pastimes include sitting on fallen driftwood on the beach, pretending to read, laughing when my obese, bearded friend – who looks an awful lot like that Clerks director, Kevin Smith – stuffs his face or makes a blender squirt gooey white smoothie everywhere. So funny! Even after the fifth time! I guess you could say I'm on the rebound. My fiancé died right before our wedding. I know, tragic, right? But then I find out that he had a secret life that involved a trashy, flaky masseuse who looks a lot like that actress who was in Cape Fear and might have fathered a little boy. Imagine living life under an alias! (Actually, that sounds kind of exciting.) Which brings me to... You: SWM, early 30s, dark hair, sorta holding onto that bad-boy look for as long as you can milk it – like that scruffy actor on TV's Deadwood. You seem like a real ladies' man, sleeping with strangers at funerals and such. But I'm convinced that underneath you're a real sensitive type. Relationship material. I'm not sure how I know this; I just do. Maybe one day we could go fly fishing, something my dead fiancé used to do a lot. There's something very, very significant and symbolic about catching fish and then releasing them back into the water. Or maybe we could watch a DVD of one of my favourite movies, Erin Brockovich. It's about a strong woman who knows what she wants and goes after it. Maybe I like it so much because that character is so unlike me. The writer, Susannah Grant, was nominated for an Academy Award for the script. But that was a long, long time ago. I wonder what she's doing now?
