Very few weeks could go by in the celebrity press that didn't include speculation that Cameron Diaz and
Justin Timberlake were engaged to be married. Every ring Cameron wore and every hint JT dropped was
roundly scrutinized for some hint of a wedding between the long-time couple.
Now that they have officially split - what went wrong? One report says the break up was because of a
baby. No Cameron wasn't and isn't pregnant, but a report says she was ready.

Female first UK claims that the pair are kaput because she wanted to settle down and start a family, and
Justin was still not ready. The entertainment website cites source that told Britain's Grazia magazine:
"Cameron always believed that eventually Justin wanted to marry her and be the father of her children
but he always said he was not ready. Cameron suddenly realized that time was catching up with her but
Justin wasn't willing to make the commitment.

The Post Chronicle points out that JT is giving few hints. The web site reports that during the first
concert of his 36-date FutureSex/LoveShow tour on 8 January the singer revealed, "Sometimes love isn't
so easy," and now he reveals his hectic work schedule is helping him nurse the pain.
His tour this weekend took him to Las Vegas and he has also made an appearance at Sundance.

Surfer Kelly Slater's mother has slammed reports Cameron Diaz is having a rebound romance with her son. Diaz flew to Hawaii to be with the surfer, just a week after breaking up with Justin Timberlake. Slater's mother Judy insists there is "nothing romantic" between the pair, telling In Touch, "They have been friends for a long time. Every time somebody sees somebody else eating dinner, they think it is a romantic thing. It's silly." Diaz and Timberlake were involved in a very public argument at a Golden Globes celebration Monday, after spotting her ex talking to Jessica Biel. When asked if she believed Diaz was using Slater to get away from her life in Hollywood, Judy said, "She might be - I don't know. She just called him and asked if she could come over for a few days. It was nothing they had planned." Diaz and Slater, both 34, have known each other since meeting on a 2005 conservation expedition to Honduras for Diaz's MTV show "Trippin.'"

Justin Timberlake has started speaking out about the break-up of his romance with Cameron Diaz - but
he isn't saying very much.
During the first concert of his 36-date FutureSex/LoveShow tour on 8 January (07), the singer revealed,
"Sometimes love isn't so easy," and now he reveals his hectic work schedule is helping him nurse the
pain.
Speaking by phone on radio presenter Ryan Seacrest's Kiis-Fm show in Los Angeles earlier this month
(Jan07), Timberlake revealed, "I'm on tour and its awesome."
When asked if being distracted by work was helpful, the singer responded, "Yeah, it's great."

Cameron Diaz moves back in with her parents

After a split with four-year boyfriend Justin Timberlake and a much-publicized fight with the singer at a Golden Globes after-party, today brings word that Cameron Diaz has moved back in with her parents and maybe moved on with another man. The 31 year-old star of The Holiday shared an apartment with the "Sexy Back" singer, but has taken her stuff and moved back in with her parents Billie and Emilio in Long Beach.

A source told The Sun, "The split with Justin is totally amicable so there's no rush, but they don't want to be living in the same house any more. While Cameron looks for her own place, she wants to go home. Her parents also live near Los Angeles, in Long Beach. That's where she is going to move her stuff while she figures out what to do next."

Justin Timberlake, who can currently be seen in Alpha Dog and will hit theaters again next month in Black Snake Moan, first got together with Cameron Diaz, the star of There's Something About Mary and Charlie's Angels, in 2003 and rumors circulated at the end of last year that the couple hadn't spent the holidays together. They confirmed their break-up after the rumors became too many to deny in a statement - "It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but, out of respect for the time we've spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media. We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another."

Most friends and sources have said that the breakup was amicable, but a recent incident at Prince's after-party for the Golden Globes seemed to defy that claim. The story goes that Cameron Diaz say Justin Timberlake talking to Jessica Biel at the party at the Beverly Wilshire hotel. A source told TMZ, "Cameron kept coming up and trying to speak to Justin but he told friends he just wants a clean break." According to sources, Diaz forced Biel to leave and got into a 40-minute fight with Justin Timberlake, while others looked on. A source told the Post, "If that's how she wants to get him back, it won't work. She's desperate."

A source told People magazine - "Cameron came back looking composed, but during the argument Justin held his head in his hands and slammed his fist down into a cabinet."

Today brought the news that Cameron Diaz has not only physically moved out but may have moved on too with reports coming out that she's currently in Hawaii with the Association of Surfing Professionals World Tour Champion Kelly Slater. A source was quoted by Monsters & Critics, "They're old friends and Cameron is staying with Kelly while she gets over her break up from Justin." The couple was seen sharing a romantic dinner at Haleiwa Jones.

magazine that though it is absolutely it is true that Cameron has jetted off to Hawaii to be with Pamela
Anderson’s hunky former boyfriend (her son) there is nothing romantic going on, she insists.
