Angelina Jolie visits Vietnam For Charity Not Adoption

Actress Angelina Jolie was not in Vietnam for another adoption reports People Magazine Actress Angelina Jolie traveled to Vietnam last week to take a meeting on behalf of the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project, her charity aiding her son's native country of Cambodia.

According to Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project executive director Stephan Bognar, Angelina Jolie met with officials from the International Finance Corporation's Mekong Private Sector Development Facility, a privately funded World Bank initiative that promotes economic development in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Jolie is interested in a project to help subsistence farmers grow and sell bamboo, a business that, Bognar says, could increase their monthly income from $25 to $100-300. Bamboo crops also filter toxins from water and help stem soil erosion. Internet rumors, said Pitt and Jolie visited Vietnam for another adoption. Pitt was in New Orleans, where he's filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and couldn't make the trip. In other news, Angelina Jolie was really eager to play a sexy and "dirty" role in a sequel to the comic book film Sin City reports indiatimes . . Said Jolie: "They discussed the idea with me when I was two months pregnant. Feeling very pregnant, I was charmed with the idea of getting naked and dirty and violent in a year or so. It moved off schedule ... but if the schedule works out, it sounds like a fun thing to do."

One can guess that the uber sexual Angelina Jolie has attended a strip club or two in her day. Certainly
her beau and the unmarried father of her children Brad Pitt has carried on a unique relationship with
what sounds like several strippers. The handsome hunk wasn't always 'a-list' and before he hit it big, his
gig was to help out the topless gals trying to make a living.

The handsome hunk sat down for a roundtable discussion with Oscar-nomination hopefuls including
Brad Pitt, Helen Mirren, and Forest Whitaker.

When the inevitable “What’s the strangest job you’ve ever had?” question is posed, it comes out that
Whitaker was a classical tenor and Mirren was a carnival barker. As for Pitt? The 43-year-old Babel
actor got his start as a personal chauffeur to the Women of the Pole.
“I had a job driving strippers around,” he told the mag. “Yeah, my job was to drive them to bachelor
parties and things. I'd pick them up, and at the gig I'd collect the money, play the bad Prince tapes and
catch the girls' clothes. It was not a wholesome atmosphere, and it got very depressing.”
Us Weekly Magazine notes that the job ended up making Pitt’s career.

“One time he freaked out because she disappeared for an hour-and-a-half.”

HANOI, Vietnam, Jan 21, 2007 (UPI via COMTEX) -- U.S. film actress Angelina Jolie spent last week
in Vietnam for a meeting on behalf of the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project, People magazine says.

The project's executive director Stephan Bognar said that he and Jolie were in Vietnam meeting with
officials from the International Finance Corp.'s Mekong Private Sector Development Facility, a privately
funded World Bank initiative that promotes economic development in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos,
People reported.
The actress attended the meeting as a representative of the project, her charity aiding Cambodia.
Jolie is reportedly interested in a program to get farmers to grow and sell bamboo, increasing their
monthly income from $25 to $100-300.
Brad Pitt and Jolie, along with their children Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh were back in New Orleans,
where the couple just bought a $3.5 million house, People said.
